Sportsweeks Soccer Star Scheme
During every school holiday, we hold football coaching courses at various venues throughout South Manchester. The courses are available to children aged 4 - 14 years old.
Format
The children are placed into groups according to their age and ability, competing in small sided games, whilst also undertaking sessions for skills and drills. They will also complete the Sportsweeks Soccer Star Scheme, which is a series of challenges to test their footballing skills. Competitions include World Cups, Penalty Shoot-Out, Speed shot competitions, free-kick competitions and many more for which certificates and medals are awarded.
Early Morning Drop-Off/Working Parents Late Pick-Up
For working parents, there is an Early Morning Drop-Off facility so children can be dropped off early in the morning, and The Late Pick-Up facility so children can be picked up later on into the evening. Times and prices are available on the dates & booking page.
Equipment
All equipment is supplied and children are required to bring warm outdoor kit, clean training shoes, together with a drink and snack for a break if attending a morning or afternoon session, and a packed lunch for those attending for a full day.
Awards
There will be a presentation on the last morning/afternoon of each course, when children participating will receive certificates and prizes/awards will be presented to the children that each of the coaches believe have made a valuable contribution to the week.
Staff
All staff are fully qualified FA and UEFA Coaches, are registered with the Local Authority Coaches Organisations and experienced with this age range of children.
All staff are First-Aid trained and Police checked.
