Gymnastics
Course Content
The course is open to boys and girls from Reception to Year 6 inclusive. They will work towards the Proficiency Award Scheme set by the British Amateur Gymnastics Association (BAGA). The Award Scheme consists of 8 levels, starting with level 8 and working up towards level 1. The Proficiency Award Scheme works to improve flexibility, balance, stamina, confidence and self motivation. The levels cover 6 sets of 10 exercises, which get more challenging when the gymnast progresses up the levels.
The children will work towards the British Amateur Gymnastics (BAGA) Proficiency Award Scheme. The children will be awarded a certificate and badge twice per school year upon successful completion of each stage.
Kit
Indoor PE kit is required. It is advisable for your young child to take a drink, preferably non-carbonated.
Supervision
All children are fully supervised throughout the session and are not allowed to leave the premises until a Parent/Guardian collects the child from the hall.
